The JPO (Japan Patent Office) and the INPI (French National Institute of Industrial Property) announced that the PPH (Patent Prosecution Highway) pilot program between Japan and France will come into force from January 1, 2021.
For the INPI, the JPO will be the first patent office among the world to start the PPH program.
